I am from Raytown, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri, which is on the Missouri River that separates the Middlewestern states of Missouri and Kansas. I have a Bachelor of Art's degree from Trinity University, a small liberal arts college in San Antonio, Texas, and a Master of Arts degree from world-famous Columbia University in New York City. At Columbia, I spent an additioinal year working on a doctorate, which I never completed.
I have taught in about ten different schools in as many provinces of China, usually at the university level. I first came to Zaozhuang University in July of 2011 and taught through the end of July 2012. During the fall semester of 2012, I taught at Baoji University of Arts and Sciences in Baoji, Shaanxi, before returning to Zaozhuang University on February 20th of this year. I usually teach Oral English and English Compostion, but in my over ten years in China I have taught all language subjects, including Prose Essay, Film Class, Greek and Roman Mythology, Advanced Reading, American and British Literature, Pronunciation, Advanced Reading, Advanced Writing, and other classes relevant to the study of English.
